trickling in...
hello all,
just wanted to let you know that leads have been trickling in! i never thought it would be happening just like i have read and studied! thank you for the encouragement these past months!
question for the seasoned investors:
how nervous were you on your first deals?
i find myself stuttering with my realtor sometimes. it bugs me that my brain and mouth just freeze up during the conversation. (i have realtors on my team but i also do my own farming) i also get kinda scared when i start thinking about how much a property is worth. most of the props here are 250/sq ft FMV. i just wanna know, is this normal? i was never scared or nervous until the most recent calls and inquiries started to occur.

I understand your nervousness when talking to realtors and sellers. Trust me when I tell you that it'll go away quick. You'll realize two things:
1) a realtor is there to help YOU
2) a motivated seller needs YOUR help
Once you realize you're in a more advantageous position, that nervousness will fade.
I'm not a seasoned investor, but I know what you are going through.
Sometimes, in order to reach your goal, you have to put the small things in the back of your mind and focus on the things that are more important...like where your next investment is going to come from.
