Ihave finished reading a book called Making Big Money in Foreclosure by peter Conti and david fokner.
In the back of the book they have a web site to check out, on the web site they have a mentoring program.

Has anyone heard good or bad about this Mentoring program. Itried to call and get a price for it, but they insisted to have someone call me back.

any feedback would help out

they do have a good program and info... but its costly... something like 1500 + 50% of your first 2 deals...thats gross potential profit...

    you can do the math...

ask enough questions here and read the articles... you will be on your way

Heck if that's all it is then I'm thinking about signing up. I'd give up 100% of my profit on the first 2 deals to have a skill for the rest of my life, where I can move to any part of the country and never have to worry about being broke again.

When you're a total newbie who could use a push, that's not a bad deal. Plus, if you don't do a deal within 90 days that makes you at least $10K profit, you get a full refund of the up front payment. Can't beat that.

I think I just talked myself into signing up. It just depends on the individual I guess. You could either sign up and be ready to invest in a few months, or read and read and read, and be ready to invest in a year. Neither way is the wrong way in my opinion.

well i read both books that those authors wrote and they are really good books i have to admit, i really dont think that its a "necessity" to go to their boot camp to learn how-to do creative investing because honestly they do such a good job on that in the book. for me all i needed was those books, and this site for more in depth personal coaching from all these pro's and i'm off on my first deal. i'm in the beginning process right now where i have to go see the seller and basically go there to lock it up. i've already done most of the talk on the phone. check out my post.

i think it might get blocked out.. dunno.. hehehe but yea its in Birddogin/beginner forum. Great books and i do recommend them both.

Way to go man. You act fast. I like that. I read all their books too, and they are really good. I went to my first real estate meeting last night, and I pretty much understood and knew 80% of what they were talking about, which made me feel like I'm really close. I even noticed a couple things the speaker said were incorrect, before somebody else corrected them.

I think it's just a matter of linking on to one person who has done deals, and running with it.

One of the elements of their material that I like is their emphasis on the "people" side of the business - focusing on finding the right seller, building their motivation, and putting a win-win deal together.

Robert Bruss, a nationally syndicated RE columnist says that their second book is the best book on RE negotiation that he's ever read.

I purchased their Protege program - 5 folders and 20 or so CD's. It's a little rough but it does have everything needed to take a deal from start to finish. If I didn't already have a mentor, I would definitely consider their program.

They probably have multiple mentorship packages/terms available. I recently went to a weekend multi-speaker seminar (program sales w/ bits of info) that they held and they were marketing it there for $7k-8k.

I'm giving my mentor the deal of his choice - and I'd do it again in a second.

    MENTORSHIP PROGRAM-

I talked in great length with someone at Mentorship Financial Group, LLC. If you are accepted into their mentorship program there are 3 options.

1.) $20,000.00 up front and you do not split any of the profits with them

2.) $5000.00 up front and you split the first two deals that you do. with this option, you get like 15 videos from thier intensive training seminars, this is not included in the option below)

    3. $1000.00 down, $500.00 per month for 12 months. You split the profits 50/50 on the first 2 deals.

Hope this helps. [ Edited by dlukas on Date 12/08/2003 ]

20,000? thats a little steep I think . I say just stick with the website, and ask the questions. There isn't one question you can ask that can't be anwsered by one of the professionals on here.

Yikes!!!!! I'd say too much! I learned how to do this on my own. I may not be a millionaire yet but I wouldn't be willing to give up the profit from two or three house deals for a program that teaches me how to do something that I'm already doing.
