Knocking on Doors?
This may not be the best approach in terms of time spent and completion ratios, but I have a question for the group. If I get a foreclosure/pre-foreclosure list are there any legal issues with hand delivering a letter to someones doorstep? I know that you can't tamper with the mailbox, etc, but are there laws against leaving a letter or door hangar on the front door? Is there any variance by state/county/city? Anyone with practical experience on this either way?
