Can anyone recommend any good FREE foreclosure websites or do they all require a paid subscription?

Most require a paid subscription, although it is usually on $5 a week or so.

Look at the top of the page and go to links.

The look for REOs. You will find some links to free sites.

    Kimmyjack:
If you are in Lancaster, Ca. I would recommend County Records Research. They give you the goods.

For a higher monthly fee, you can get the access to www.dataquick.com which allows you information far more superior in scope and quality then any local MLS or foreclosure site. The title company can also provide you with foreclosure listing, and as far as I know they again interface www.dataquick.com where this days, everything regarding real estate information begins and ends.

Omega: I have looked at Dataquicks site before but could not determine if you can do specific searches through it. For example can you search on NOD's? If not what kind of lists are they supplying?

Don't all these sites offer listings of old information? Shouldn't you be looking for up to date info? I am!!!

I'm with you Omega 1. Data quick is an excellent service. I have to renew my subscription, but I've been sucessful using them in other business dealings. I'm now going to renew my subscription, and restructer my query searches. If I remember correctly, it was about 75 dollars a month for a 1 year subscription. I will gladly pay for up to date, thorough information
    Just my thoughts

Data Quick looks like it just allows you to filter the data on the property appraiser site. Does it do more? I am a computer programmer and every quarter I pay to get the property appraiser data downloaded. What does Data Quick do for you other than get mailing lists.

    Thanks

You could also look at www.foreclosureworld.com They are pay site as well, but the payment is lum sum and the subscription is one time for good. I use them and I have found the information to be as good as any of the other paysites. I only pay 1 time for ever. Not by the week or month or year. Hope this helps.

Be aware of the irresponsible posters and incorrect info they tend to offer with ease:

lacashman suggestion above is wrong. This site doesn't offer any links to FREE foreclosure sites. To the best of my knowledge they (free sites) do not exists and those that advertise to be free, are usually one or the othere RE scam, interested in your email address so to sell you same mentor's programs and other c...p. http://www.Foreclosureworld.com is one fo those sites so I wouldn't even bother waisting time on it. Truly useful foreclosure info sites are commonly businesses for their respective companies. Therefore THEY DO charge for the weekly or monthly subscription. If you want an informative foreclosure site try http://www.realtytrac.com or go spend some time in your county recorders office. Information are public record and you do not have to pay for them except with your own time.

if you want good info you would have to pay. I recomend: http://www.CountyRecordsResearch.com/

Good luck! [ Edited by omega1 on Date 02/11/2004 ]

    tinman1755,

New members DO relay on accurate information supplied by older members. I've been reading your posts for sometime now and frankly, you are getting more and more inaccurate, ultimately misleading those who need help.

For example, you been advertising above that you are buying your foreclosure leads form http://www.foreclosures.com/ and they even not offering leads in Pennsylvania but rather refer you to foreclosurefreesearch.com/ which is in hart a baloney site that offers only REO data.

I understand that you would like to distinguish yourself and your number of posts next to your screen name by posting as many leads as you can regardless of the context, but you also have to consider the interest of the site itself and the people who you often tend to miss inform.

I hope that you now better then that and that you'll work diligently on improving the quality of your posts once you know now that your posts are in fact read!

try mcbreo hud properties free site

If I remember correctly, Data quick will also send you labels of all the property listings that you either print out or request over the www.phone.They may charge you for it, I'm not sure.
Excuse my ignorance, i'm not a computer guy, i'm in sales.
In any case, the customer service has been excellent in my experience. They'll work with you if you're late with a payment. More importantly, they'll supply you with the "Glenn Gary" leads.

    What are Glenn Gary leads?

So they provide mailing lists and labels? Anything else?

    Brenda

  • monkfish12th February, 2004

The "Glenn Gary leads" is a pop culture reference, from the Al Pacino movie about real estate salesman, "Glenn Gary, Glenn Ross."
