Emails For Group Events??

I was wondering, though. How many of you would like to receive email reminders about your local group events?? What we could do is either have the administrator have the event get tagged and automatically email the members of that group when there is a local event.

BUT!!

What day should the email get sent out on to remind users of the event? Same day?? A day ahead??

    day before would probably be the best approach

    I would say a couple of days in advance. I mean if it was sent out the day before I would have a hard time rescheduling if I had forgotton about it but if it was sent out a couple of days I would be more apt to set up appointments and such for a later date. Just my 2 cents.
