Negative Credit Falling Off Finally, Where Do I Go From Here
Finally after a divorce about eight years ago, all of the negative trade lines that I have are getting ready to fall off. I have seven trade lines, 5 old charge offs, 2 recent credit cards paid as agreed. The strange thing is that these five accounts, that I have been disputing on and off for the past few years, are 1 providian credit card, and two Mercury finance accounts that had been being reported as two seperate accounts each totalling five. One fall off 12/03 (providian), two fall off 01/04 (first Mercury acct. being reported twice), and two fall off 03/04 (the second Mercury acct.).
After that all I will have is a few collections, and a judgement. I already know about the secured loans using CD's. Other than that, what other things can I be working on now that will ensure a good position credit wise when these negative items are finally out of my hair.
