This Is So Hard!

I'm trying to stay focused on the goal. But I've got to admit I'm getting discouraged. I'm having problems finding the right people. I have the opportunity in sight, I've got the whole plan mapped out. I can see the profit. What am I doing wrong? I can't specify what I'm looking for because I don't want to break any of the TCI rules. If at all possible can you give me some generic advise? confused

You need to be more specific. If you are looking for help solving a problem, that is not advertising. The major benefit of this site is that there are people willing and able to help solve problems.

I didn't want to be blatnant about it. I'm having problems finding an investor. There is not a group established for my area. I've tried the local papers, online, so forth. I'm still trying to figure this RE thing out. I didn't want to just say it out right I've seen the others get put in jail for advertisement. I don't want to follow in the wrong foot steps. Sorry for the run around.

    bain86,

    Glad to meet you.

However, I am going to have to take you off to Jail.

No, wait a minute let's see if there are some investors out there in Florida who would be willing to help you.

I happen to be in Florida what is it you need exactly now that I posted your bail.

For one thing I can see you are sincere about your request so fire away.

Search the local papers for "I Buy Houses" ads and also "Foreclosure Help" ads. These are investors looking for good deals. I did have one question, do you have control of the property and if so how?

I am also an investor. I have a self directed IRA that I will on sometimes loan out to another investor. I also talked to lots of other people to get them to use their IRA's to fund my deals. The interest rate is high at 12%, but they don't escrow the rehab funds. Talk to others, and if you are interested Pm me I might have some funds available at the time.

The more discouraged you are the closer you are to finding financing,I learned that the hard way.Just keep asking! remember you are not looking for someone to say No.... you are looking for someone to say yes.
Take a hard look at the deal is there some room for a partner/investor rather than funding?
I looked for a year for funding on a problem property,no foundation remote area www.etc.Not only have I found the funding , two of the investors have rehabbing a fixer and we are starting a new 2700 sqft home May in Lake Tahoe,I just kept going and thats what you have to do.And also they now want to be involved in my "not worth it "deal.
Next time you get discouraged drop me a line.We can share door slamed in our face stories.
    Mike
