Tampa Community Investment
How do you research if it is a smart decision to invest in a house that his located in a gated community? Do you research it the same way you would a condo? If anyone can give me some advice as to how to research these communities, please let me know.

A gated community is JUST LIKE ANY OTHER.....
...it's just Gated...
You can do your DD..(due diligence) the same way as any other REIs..

Gated communitites are great to buy land and build a house in for resale. Think about it, it's a limited commodity, it's a gated community with X amount of lots available.

Thanks for the help guys, But I flew down to tampa a few days ago and my conclusion was that there were very few rentals in these gated communites. the reason for this is that all of these properties are cheaper or the same to buy than to rent. If however they are rented, people only rent them for about 6 months maximum. I need long term renters. Thanks again.
