Recommended Development Financing Book
Hi Group,
I'm wondering if there are any books or courses that anyone recommends. I'm interested in learning more about the financing behind development deals.
i.e. Developer's required financial background, things to look out for, etc...

I could recommend a book by Jack Cummings entitled "Real Estate Finance & Investment Manual".
I have loaned it to people and it taught me alot. It also has sections on goal setting, narrowing your focus, putting together a presentation for construction financing, etc.
Great read and reference IMHO.
Amazon has it on sale right now for $23.77. Worth every penny.

A couple of good books on land development that I have read are Nancy Chadwick's Land Buying & Selling which can be purchased on this site and Thomsett's Getting Financing & Developing Land which I purchased through www.builderbooks.com Hope this helps and good luck
