What Is A Bird Dog?
I am new to this term and am looking for a definition of a "bird dog." Investors I have talked to have started using "bird dogs" to find them deals. I have a few questions about this:
What information to you want from the bird dog? (ie. name, address, telephone number, do they pull comps, let you know what the seller wants, etc., etc.)
What is the maximum area they should cover? (ie. a 10 mile radius, 3 mile radius, etc.)
How do you find a GOOD "bird dog" and what questions do you want to ask them when interviewing?
I will probably think of more questions but this is a good start to the thread. I want to learn as much as I can about "bird dogs."
