Trying To Get Started REI
Hello, all... What a great site and forum!
I am trying to get a start in REI. I am fortunate enough to have a house available to me from my mother.
This is her house. She moved into a new house a few months ago, and has agreed to give the house to me as a "starter" house to see if this is something I would be interested in doing.
The house is completely paid off (it's just a small rowhome in Baltimore City), with no leins or anything like that.
I have a simple quit claim deed form that I found online. Is this sufficient to use to get the house out of her name and into mine? Or is there something more that I have to do?
As well, are there any clubs in the Baltimore area that anyone knows of? What would be a good way to start one up?
