Maybe Bird Dog First?

Hello all,

I have already posted below and hopefully will get more feeback on that post.

Besides figuring out what to invest in, I have been thinking since I signed up maybe I should start bird dogging / jobbing in my area so I can learn the ropes somewhat.

My question is how do you start, what exactly do I do as a bird dogger , when I go out looking what do I look for in a property.

I know my way around my area, have done research type of work before for an attorney where I would look into peoples taxes and such and I think I would really like doing birdogging full time and once I know what I am doing of course I will Start investing myself..

I live in the southern new jersey area so I am not sure how much demand there is for bird dogging.

Wheres a good place to start learning?

Certainly the TCI site is a good place to start. You can read the posts. Also, I believe there are some books available on birddogging.

In terms of what to look for, you want to find properties that are well below market. The value of your services will depend on what you are able to offer to an investor. The main one I work with has traveled to other places to locate sources of properties. She delivers alot and I am now entertaining partnering with her.
