Checking Out Property/bird Dogging

tailwheel profile photo

Just joined here a few days ago cuz this is interesting business to me. The thing is, I'm retired and live just east of Los Angeles. I have casual interest in Tax deed sales in the surrounding counties of San Bernadino, Riverside, Tulare and Kern.

When the sales open up, I will vist these places looking for due diligence and visiting the property sites. Do the denizens here think that it would be possible to provide services for them at a reasonable cost to check out prospects on which they may have interest. All on a private, exclusive, confidential basis to help pay for my own expenses

I can make up a checklist for their information , and I have a 3.1 megapixel digital camera for onsite photos I can submit to them.

Or am I just spinning my wheels, and just mind my own business? oh oh

I would check out the forum firstimers tab and go from there. I am sure you can find a niche in this field, but there are many ways to advertise and not be so upfront. I think the powers that moderate here will be kind because you are new, but I have been wrong before too. Try to do some reading in the markets you want to pursue and then ask questions and network from there. You can get so much help here, you will be overwhelmed by the response. Take advantage of it and build your career in CREI. Good luck

Thanks for the heads up about advertising on any of the sites. I certainly don't wish to violate any of the rules.

I'm really not thinking of making a business of investing as much as I'm interested in not sitting around here and vegetating. None of the county seats are more than 100-150 miles at the most so I can get ouside and enjoy a few small trips, and maybe buy a small lot someplace to build a small retreat.

I'll browse this website some more and then perhaps Imay learn something.

    Thanks again.
