Casey Kliphon? Backround Check
does anyone have any info on this so called guru or his company "Real Horizons", is he a reliable investor. he says he owns half of phoenix? he claims he knows John Lock personally.
my partner and i might be doing a deal with him, and i dont know if i trust him.

Here's a good way to find out who is doing deals...and who "says" they are doing deals. Ask him how many homes he does a year, (say 20-40) say fine....give me the last 5-10 addresses on one's you have closed on...then do a title search ( I can help with that) and wala....he's either full of it...or he is a player. MANY people claiming they are guru's/mentors out their...this is a good test I have found. PM me if want my help.

Casey Kliphon in the Phoenix, AZ area supposedly was a stock broker in his prior career before leaving the field. Became broke when he was going thru divorce per him, and a background check stated he claimed bankruptcy in 1998. He is an impressive individual face to face and during business interactions when he desires you to invest in properties. We invested in a few properties with him with some success, and last year, with two properties we have invested and there were profits--we have not seen anything back. He is avoiding our numerous messages by all means, including certified mail. I would not do any business in the future with him---he owes us lots of $$$$$$---BEWARE. He supposedly owns many s-corp business under a C-corp umbrella in the Phoenix, AZ area per prior conversations with him in the past.
Thanks for the info. I never did go through with that deal with him, he just seemed like a shady individual.
I evnied my friend that could walk up to anyone and chat them up (perhaps his door to door) as a teen did alot of good). I have a very difficult time. homeowners are emotional.
