PropBot user profiles help people find professionals, discover useful connections, and open public profile pages without exposing private account details.

What You Can Do

Browse active people connected to operational PropBot businesses.
Search by username or name.
Filter the directory by occupation.
Use the global list or a local search to find people near your saved location.
Open a public profile to learn more about that person.
Browse community highlights for business people with strong follower, level, or ranking activity.

Privacy note: The directory shows a limited business-person card. It does not show email addresses, phone numbers, passwords, private account details, or other information outside the safe directory projection.

How Directory Search Works

The public learning page is available without signing in. The working /users directory is available to signed-in users.

The signed-in directory opens to the global active-user list. When you choose Near You, PropBot uses the same location approach as other local searches:

It uses your saved browser location preference when one is available.
If that preference is not available, it uses usable coordinates saved on your profile.
If profile coordinates are not available, it uses the city and state on your profile.
When coordinates are used, the default search radius is 50 miles.
An explicit city or state search takes priority over the current directory view.
If no usable location is available, Near You falls back to the global directory.

The directory applies the active-user and active-business-membership rules to every result.

Main user cards

The main cards come from the active business-person directory query. The query can include text, occupation, location, and pagination filters. Only safe directory fields are kept in the final results.

The default global list orders active public users by activity and quality signals such as rank, post activity, and level. Paid membership is used only as a tie-breaker. The Near You list uses distance first, then the same activity signals. The card does not display a member's membership tier.

More users on this page

More users on this page are the remaining results from that same directory page. This section does not run a separate ranking query or show a different privacy class.

Community highlights

Community highlights are global lists. They are not limited to the 50-mile directory radius:

Most followers is ordered by follower count.
Highest Level is ordered by user level.
Top Ranked is ordered by user ranking.

Each list uses active business membership and operational company status before showing entries.

How activity affects level and rank

The highlights use different measures:

Highest Level uses the user's level, which currently reflects the number of residential and commercial properties associated with the user.
Top Ranked uses the user's ranking score. The current score combines comment score, replies, and the net likes or dislikes on the user's posts, comments, and associated properties.
Creating a post updates a separate post-count measure. It does not add a fixed rank point by itself.

Commenting can affect rank, but a plain comment does not promise a fixed number of points. Comment scores, replies, and reactions can move the score up or down.

Public Profiles

Selecting a user card opens that user's public profile page. A public profile may include a username, avatar, occupation information, and other details the user has chosen to share.

If the profile owner changes the profile to private, the individual profile page applies that privacy setting. A safe directory card may still appear while the person remains an active member of an operational company.

What is the Users learning page?

The Users learning page explains how PropBot's user directory works, including privacy, location search, public profile cards, and community highlights.

Can I open the user directory without signing in?

No. The working /users directory requires a signed-in PropBot account.

If you open the directory while signed out, PropBot sends you to sign in and then returns you to the directory. The /learn/users learning page remains available publicly.

Are private profiles shown?

No. The directory and community highlights show public profiles only.

People with private profiles are left out of directory results and leaderboard results. The directory also leaves out private account fields such as email addresses and phone numbers.

Is the user directory global or local?

The directory is global by default. Signed-in members can choose Near You for a local search. Near You uses your saved browser location first. If that is not available, PropBot uses your profile coordinates or profile city and state.

Coordinate searches use a default 50-mile radius. An explicit city or state search overrides the current view. If no usable location is available, Near You falls back to the global directory.

What are the main user cards?

The main cards are active public profiles returned by the directory query. The query may use text, occupation, location, and pagination filters.

For a general browse, rank, post activity, and level are considered first. Paid membership is used only as a tie-breaker. Specific name, occupation, city, state, or local/outside searches use their search or locality ordering.

What does “More users on this page” mean?

“More users on this page” is the rest of the current directory result page after the first group of cards. It is not a separate ranking and does not use different privacy rules.

How are community highlights selected?

Community highlights are global public-profile lists:

Most followers is ordered by follower count.
Highest Level is ordered by user level.
Top Ranked is ordered by user ranking.

PropBot checks profile visibility before showing a person in any list and leaves out profiles with hidden stats from leaderboard lists. These lists are not limited to the local 50-mile directory radius.

Can comments or properties change a user's rank?

Properties currently affect level. Comment scores and replies can affect rank, as can the net likes or dislikes on a user's posts, comments, and associated properties. Creating a post updates a separate post-count measure; it does not add a fixed rank point by itself.

The exact change depends on the activity and its reactions, so PropBot does not promise a fixed number of points for one action.

Do paid accounts appear higher in the directory?

No. Paid membership is not an automatic first-place guarantee. Generic browsing considers rank, post activity, and level first, then uses membership tier only as a tie-breaker. Nearby browsing uses distance first. Explicit searches use their own search or locality ordering. The public card does not display the member's membership tier.

Does location affect community highlights?

No. Location affects the main directory search, but the community highlights are global.

What information can a public profile show?

A public directory card can show a username, avatar, occupation information, and a link to the public profile. Private account fields are not part of the public directory.

The profile owner controls whether the profile is public and which supported profile details are shared.

Can I make my profile private?

Yes. You can change your profile visibility in your profile settings when that option is available to your account. A private profile is removed from public directory and community-highlight results.
