What happens after I submit or receive a payment?

After a payment is submitted, PropBot waits for Stripe to confirm it. Then PropBot updates the right record and sends the right receipt or status
update.

If you made the payment

  1. Stripe processes your payment.

  2. PropBot marks the invoice or item as paid.

  3. If the payment needs extra time, PropBot may wait until Stripe finishes settlement.

  4. Your payment history updates in My Purchases.

  5. You may also see the updated invoice in My Invoices.

If you received the payment

  1. Stripe confirms the payment.

  2. PropBot updates the invoice, project, or purchase record.

  3. The payee gets the payment confirmation or receipt.

  4. The payment stays tied to the correct property, project, company, or group record.

What changes in PropBot

  • The status changes from pending to paid when Stripe confirms the payment.

  • Some payments also move to settled after the money fully clears.

  • Receipts and invoice links become available in the payment history.

  • If the payment came through a cart, PropBot keeps the full checkout record together.

Good to know

  • Card payments usually confirm faster.

  • ACH payments may take longer to settle.

  • PropBot does not mark a payment complete until Stripe confirms it.

  • If a payment is already processed, PropBot will not apply it twice.
