Can contractors or service providers upload invoices and proof of work?
Yes, but only if they have access to the right workspace or record.
In simple terms
They can upload invoice files to an invoice they can access.
They can share proof of work for a job or service request.
For maintenance or hire requests, the file upload is tied to the request or incident.
Access depends on the company, group, or project they are working in.
How it works
Make sure the contractor or service provider is invited into the right workspace.
Open the right record:
- an invoice in [My Invoices](/dashboard/invoices)
- a work request or incident in the company workflowUpload the file, such as:
- invoice PDF
- receipt
- photo of completed work
- job notes
- other proof of serviceThe owner, admin, or requester can review the file.
If needed, they can move the work forward and convert it into an invoice.
Important note
For incident attachments, only the original requester can upload files right now.
If the contractor is not the requester, they usually send the proof of work to the requester or workspace admin first.
For invoices, the user must be signed in and able to access that invoice.
Good to know
Use Send Invites to add contractors, vendors, or service providers to the right workspace.
Use My Companies or My Groups to manage access.
