VACANT HOUSE - PEOPLE SEARCH SERVICES?

alubeck profile photo

I've got a fleet of vacant ugly houses and I am working on tracking down the owners. I've done the tax records work, but still have a few that are MIA.

I'd like to use a people search service, but there are so many out there and I have not heard positive or negative reviews on any of them.

WHAT SERVICES WOULD YOU RECOMMEND? WHAT SERVICES HAVE YOU HAD SUCCESS WITH?

****Must Reach Senior Investor status before posting URL's*** is a site that hunts down MIA owners of properties. There is a charge but if they don't find anything, you'll be refunded..Or try sending a letter to the vacant addresses, requesting forwarding addresses and you might get a hit on locating some of the owners when the letter is returned to you by the post office with their forwarding address on it.
    Much Luck!

    Try some simple things first:

Send a letter to the current address and see if you get a forwarding address back.

Call or knock on doors of neighbors

Do a 411 call for surrounding areas. People usually don't move very far away.

Call people in the same general area that have the same last name.

Then try a service to help you out. No hit, no pay, is the only way to go.

If you PM me I will send you a link that I use. I got this link from the housing inspectors (City of Baltimore). This is the site they use to track down owners.
