Title Search
After getting a property under contract, would I have a title search done before I assign the contract or would I leave that up to the end buyer. If I'm to do the title search what is the average price of having one done and is this something I can to go the courthouse and do myself. Can anyone recommend and couple of good books on wholesaling? Thanks for all comments in advance.

After you get the property under contract, you want to open up escrow or contact a closing attorney to process everything. They will order a 'preliminary title report' followed up by an actual title insurance policy.
I would recommend Ron Legrands course on wholesaling. It may still be available on this site. You could probably find it used somewhere if it is not available.
