I read John$Cash$Locke's articles trying to learn more about how to do "subject to" and was wondering if very many real estate attorneys are familiar with this practice and the mechanics of putting it together? confused

    land01,

Good question. William Bronchick, Esq. is what I would call a Real Estate Guru as a matter of fact he has many courses on Real Estate Investing. I do not believe he does Subject To investing but he understands it and I can not speak for him but he has written Articles where this type of investing is legal.

He is a Channel Partner here at TCI and very well respected in the investing community. I am sure you will find that many REI Attorneys are familiar with this method of investing.

You will always get conflicting views on just about anything, is Ford or Chevrolet a better car, it is just a natural way of life even in real estate investing.

I have students all across the United States doing Subject To investing, they have contacted Attorneys to make sure their paperwork was State Specific and written in accordance with the laws of the land.

Thanks for responding!! What does "channel partner" mean John? I am in Texas & need to see if "subject to" will work here. I feel like I am going to have to really know this subject, (excuse the pun!) since I may have to be the teacher when I take one of these deals to my real estate attorney! Haven't talked to him about it yet, but I will. I can't wait to be liquid enough to buy your course!!!Daugher just getting o/o college & my first real estate deal will take care of liquidity!

P.S. please review my post to "feature requests" under TCI "wesite questions." My background is sales/marketing (acreage homesites in suburban areas for people who want to build a home). I have done sales training as a manager and enjoy motivational approaches...Any merit to my request?

You may find it interesting to hear what William Bronchick has to say about "due on sale" clauses...straight from the lawyer's perspective.
