Short Selling Methodology
I just saw Dwan and Sharon speak here in NYC last night. I see their product for sale on this site as well. They specialize in short sales with no equity if you didn't know.
Does anyone do this, and in particular have you use their methodology and found that it worked for you? Very interesting topic.
Hey - I just saw them a couple of weeks ago. A friend of mine bought their course, but decided to send it back. It saddened me!!! I am personally stuck on stupid wanting to do short sales now!!! Anyways, there's lots of info on this particular sight about short selling. You can see some of it under the foreclosure forum. My mentor told me about a couple of scenarios where he used short sales and made some big money. The biggest trick is that you have to be able to choke up a lot of cash at the time of closing. The rest of the process is just hard work, that I imagine gets really easy and can make you very wealthy after awhile. It's a nice place to start if you're still kind of new because you can get the same profit benefits as you could get going to an auction, but you have a few extra days to come up with a lot of money.
Dwan and Sharon are the short sale experts here on TCI. From what I heard, Ron LeGrand attended their short sale seminar before coming out with his own product. You can check out some articles they wrote concerning short sales by going to "Articles" link at the top of the page, then clicking on "Article Topics", and then "Short Selling."
Once you read up on short sales and decide that is the route you want to take, then I would highly recommend investing in their course for further insight into short sales.

I could kick myself, I wrote the meeting on my calendar and missed it! Can you tell me how you liked their presentation and whether it was useful information? Did they give an indication of their NY speaking schedule? Are you a member of the REI club that hosted the session?
Have you attended other NY REI general meetings? Can you tell me when the next meeting will be held and where? How is the meeting "environment" (friendly, informative, members only, etc) I am curious. Thanks for the info.
I saw them speak at the uirec meeting in NY at the Ultimate Investors Real Estate Club, Inc. http:\\wbultimateinvestors.net , and then Sharon gave a seminar at the Newark Airport Marriot. I am joining uirec in Sept. It was very informative. Make sure you make it next time!
