Im looking at a house in Dallas and the owner says that there is an assignment fee of 3000 dollars. What is an assignment fee? Is that what he requires to get into the house? Thanks and have a great weekend

If he owns the property out right, why would he be selling you an assignment? I think we are missing something here. Can yoy give us a bit more info?
He is assigning you a contract he has signed with the owner of the home (flipping) for 3,000..... I believe thats what going on...
