Question on agreements....

rcummings profile photo

Hello all...is there anyone that has a resource for agreements/contracts such as a "subject to agreement" "lease option agreement" "assignment agreement"

I am kind of ready to get started with investing and I want to have the proper paperwork in place. Do I have to have an attorney prepare the doc's or are there standard docs out there that would surfice (with a little adding and subtracting of wording)

Thanks for your help confused [ Edited by rcummings on Date 04/16/2003 ]

Almost every book or course on REI will have contracts and forms for you to use. In addition, there are numorous websites that offer them low-cost to free (check out the freebies section here or type in real estate forms in your search engine). These should be used as a guide only. Don't, I repeat DON'T close any real estate deals without your lawyer reviewing these contracts and verifying that they are legal and valid within your state.
