Organization And Professionalism Are Key!!!
I am a new investor, and am working very hard every day to establish myself and my new company Empire Real Estate L.L.C
Currently the majority of my business activity is in the wholesale end of our business. ( Flipping properties to other investors) By the way, these chatrooms and this site have been an intricut part of my start up sucess.
Anyway, I am a member of several investor groups in my area, and have diligently been contacting investors to get and idea of the types of properties that they are looking for. But more importantly than that, establish a good honest relationship with them.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but many people in this business seem to be novices or amatuers.(like myself) Over and above that, some seem to be very unprofessional and unorganized.
My question is direced to the people that have had long term success in this business. What are some of the things that you or your company have done to separate yourselves from the competition? What are some of the things that you DO that other "fly by night" investors don't.
I'm in this this business for the long haul, and my reputation and word are very important to me. However it doesn't seem as though everyone feels the same way.
