New Construction Financing...double Close?
We are building a new construction tract home. Are we able to double close or is that impossible because there is currently no title to the property. The contract does not have anything in it about assignments.

check with the title company handling your closing see what they are willing to do.
All you put down was $5,000? Did they not want proof that you have financing or loan info from a lender? This is the question I have always been asking concerning pre-construction deals. I assumed if I did what you are doing, I would have to do a "double closing" as well. Any info you could provide me would be extremely helpful. Thanks!
