Has anyone ever heard of the marshall and swift guide to home repairs. It s suppose to be a book detailing repairs has they relate to value. If so, is it worth the money?
Estimating is an art and not an exact science. M&S turns it into components and you still need some experience and some skill . Craftsmans book has a pretty decent program "National Estimator" for about$60-$75 that covers a wide range of areas and has quarterly updates. You still have to know what you are doing and fine tune everything.
