Relatively new to the land trust deals, but would like to know more about using them in California RE deals. Can someone let me know if its a legal means in California to use land trusts for RE deals? Thanks.
Hi Yomde,
I'm a Sacramento area newbie and yes the are legal. I am by no means an expert
but they would need to be state specific for CA, as well as the area of the state that you're from. I would suggest that you search articles on this site (top of page) for Land Trust info then make it more specific by consulting with members of a local investment group and/or consulting a RE attorney. To find RE group click on web links at the top of this page, scroll down to RE Inv Clubs and click on CA. This should help you get started....
