How To Start MLS Membership/inactive RE Licensee
Hi, I was wondering how to go about getting a membership to the MLS in FLorida. I have a RE license but it is voluntarily inactive...(I haven't placed it with a broker and am not sure if I will..)Can I still be a member and if so how do I do it? How much does it normally cost?

If you have lapsed your expiration period, you may have to go through the classes all over again just like a new agent. Call your state OBRE and ask them.
If you wanted to gain full mls access without a valid RE license, some board of realtors allow Affiliate Members. This is not the case in all areas, however you can simply call up your local Board of Realtors, tell them what you want to do and if it is possible!
