Have Cash. What NOW?

stevelu profile photo

I have a question. I live in Miami and want to move to Vegas. Should I sell my duplex and buy properties or maintain them here with my family. I am trying to get started with realestate but I am trapped. If I sell, I would probably get about 40,000 and I heard properties are low in las vegas. If anybody has any suggestions I would really appreciate it. I will be visiting vegas in about 2 weeks so if any body knows of any agent or someone that can give me some great leads on investment properties that would be great.

Are you retired or transplanting your family to pursue real estate investing in Las Vegas? Also you mentioned you were trapped. How?

steve, i'm here in miami as well. it depends on where the properties are? if you expect them to continue to go up in value then you could take out an equity line on the propert and use the cash for relocating in Vegas, and you could let the renters pay down your mortgage while you watch the property values rise. just one way to look at it
