how can I find telephone numbers of vacant properties. I tried people search and online directories but you need to pay. What if the number is the old when they lived at the vacant property?

any help will be appreciated.

    Try :
    http://www.zabasearch.com

I think they primarily use phone records for the free searches that they offer.
It may take many calls to locate the person you intended.
It might be a fruitless search.

Contact local tax officials with the address.

You should be able to go to the county assessor and view the property records for free. It will take time though and you may be better off using a paid service to save time. The county records will provide a billing address for the property taxes as well as any unpaid property taxes (usually).

Thanks for the help. The thing is, I have the names but not there new phone number and address.
I guess I will have to pay for skip tracing.

Can I sell just the name and property info to a investor and still get pay?

Technically, YES -- you could do that.

However, it’s not as easy as some would have you believe.

And NO, it’s not a stupid question.
