Finding Investors
I am having a tough time finding investors in my neck of the woods. Any suggestions. I have looked in the local paper with we buy properties all cash, I have no local REI club the closest is about 1-1/2 Hours away that I know of. I am ready to go (I think) but have no investors.
Any suggestions would be great.

are you looking to make a buyers list or sell your house?
or....are you saying that you want to get into real estate investing but have no funds of your own to start and will have to depend on other investors to fund your deals?

I am actually looking for investors are looking to by contracts that I get into. Possibly Rehabers or Retailers. I have researched many places but have come up empty handed.
I too am a beginning investor, and I have found my best contacts right here on TCI. Many of the local investors I have contacted are not interested in wholesaling from me--they say they have no trouble finding the deals for themselves.
If you find a good deal you can advertise it in the Properties section. I have gotten many responses from properties I have advertised as property leads. Often when I have posted questions, TCI members have looked at my profile and found the properties then. Or, there may be some investors here that are looking for properties in your area. So if you list some property leads or properties for sale there, when they do a search by state, yours will come up.
It's also a great way to network here on TCI. I have been contacted by investors here on TCI who were not interested in the properties I had listed, but wanted me to find other properties for them in my area.
So I would say, as an encouragement to you, that you have already found your best source of investors right here.

Do you have any deals under contract right now? If you find the deals, get them under and the numbers work you will find investors. Build it and they will come. Good luck.

looking for investors? Try running an ad in your local newspaper. Put it under real estate wanted maybe something like this "below market properties available, must be able to close fast and with cash." You will be able to build a buyers/ investors list when the calls start rolling in
