Dishwasher A Big Deal

Newbeelandlord profile photo

Were renovating our first property and the kitchen layout doesnt really lend itself to a dishwasher without some major demo. How big a deal is it to have a dishwasher. Were taliking a starter home in the $135,000. price range. It will be flipped not rented. What are your thoughts??

I believe it will depend on your competition - every area is different. $135,000 in one area may be a very inexpensive home, and it could be a really nice home in another.

Questions to ask: Do the houses in the price range you plan to sell in have dishwashers? How does your home compare in other areas?

Ive seen freestanding dishwashers with a butcher block top. They get hooked to the faucet and drain into the sink. Perhaps it could work. I have no idea where I saw this but its out there somewhere. Good for use in small apartments.
