Dataquick and ??? for John Locke

ken_ga profile photo

Has anyone in Georgia used Dataquick for obtaining names for direct marketing campaign?
Did you find their data to be current, up-to-date and accurate?

John Locke, when doing your direct mail, how many do you typically mail out at a time? A few hundred? A few thousand?

    Glad to meet you.

You must remember I am a little bit different in what I mail vs a new person with maybe with limited funds.

I say start with 100 post cards per week to a select targeted area and then build from there. This gives the new person a chance to become aquainted in dealing with sellers as the phone starts ringing. As you become confident in dealing with sellers then increase your direct mailings.

As you start buying and selling then 5,000 - 10,000 post cards per month would be the norm depending how many houses you want to buy.

Also, your post card needs the right copy for sellers to respond and your marketing area must fit into targeting for motivated sellers.

I have a post card that I sent to a person who e-mailed me for help, they said they quadrupled there previous response rate with my card.

Welcome on board this board. Hope you keep posting and my advice helps you.

Before all the requests start again for John's postcard, you can find it under the freebies tab at the top of the page.

    Go get it!!

Pardon the ignorance, but at what poiny of your dealings would you launch a direct marketing campaign?

    Rebreps,

    Glad to meet you.

This is a good question nothing ignorant about it.

Once you have all your paperwork in order and your backup team in place, then you would start your direct mail campaign to targeted areas.

Direct mail does work and works effectively using the correct copy in your advertising message.

No one here answered the question about DataQuick > I cannot speak for your state but here in CA they are 20-35 days behind entering the data and it is not all complete.

It is a good source though but really the county is the ultimate> unless you are doing alot of deals it aint worth getting it.

You can look at MetroScan also PS this is what all the cheesey Foreclosures websites use and the data is incomplete.

You get what ya pay for.

    Hey Skidoddle,

I've heard/read the same thing about Dataquick, I read that they're info. is at least 2-3 weeks behind the courthouse.

Although, it could've been just another company downgrading Dataquick to push theres.
