Buying In New Jersey

Is it possible to close in less then 60 days in NJ? I am looking for a home in Southern NJ for my sister who is looking at the bottom of the market 200-225K for those who know the area. Is there anyway to close quickly up there if I find a okay deal? Is it the attorneys that take so long? Is so what are they doing? I am use to buying in Florida which is a breeze.

I purchased my last house in NJ in 30 days... It was an investment property (owner-occ will be even easier), full doc loan, attorney, the whole nine yards... If you have a good lender, it will be a breeze to close within 60 days.

let me know if you need a good mortgage broker - my guy is just plain good...

    Good Luck!

I second that. Just purchased a home and it took about 25 days. To give you some more options, I also have a mortgage guy that works pretty fast . Good luck!
