???assignment fee

mel profile photo

O K Just talked to my mentor to verify what I thot he said "3% of purchase price is fair to charge for an assignment fee". I was laughed at when I told one of the rehabbers what my fee would be for this malibu flipper--$15k. Does that sound outrageous to any of you??
Need input...
Thanks,
Mel

what would be the profit left over for the rehabber? as long as it has the property fitas his formula for a good deal then he shouldn't care what you charge....

Thanks Way! That's how I see it---he could have $85k left over---but now he doesn't get it because he's bing a hog. So I have some others who might do the deal. BTW just thot of a possible lead for you--friend of mine here has a prop in your area---will get the details and let you know. I loooove Colorado--lived in Evergreen for a while--miss it very much.
    Thanks!
