TCI Realty? reqarding BD leads
I'm confused about your Property Leads section.
We get leads from all over the contry and spend a lot of energy looking for investors, your site has a great solution.
We may not have all the information required about the property, so we can't enter it. If we were to put all that you ask, it is no longer a sellable lead...now someone could go look up the property and contact the owner. How does this work?

The purpose of becoming a BirdDog for other investors is to sell quality leads.
In the TCIRealty section, you need to put in properties that you find that are 'for sale by owner' or investment properties that are for sale.
The more information you put in about the property, the better. The numbers on your address of the lead will be XXX'ed out until the investor contacts you about your lead.

I'm brand new ..this is my second post as I am literally days into the learning curve of REI. REad read read read...thats what I'm focusing on. It has become apparent that BirdDogging is a good beginning and in addition to reading I drove around and looked at VA repo's yesterday just to ascertain the condition of properties, the neighborhoods they're in, etc. I got the VA listing from the neighbor of a house that appeared to be abandoned yet in good condition. He gave it to me and so I went to look at all the others. Since the listing was a few months old, I was not shy to talk to one of the new owners about their entire process....the point being in all this... that I know nothing and yet am acting on everything I know to learn more. I can't remember feeling this kind of passion and determination to learn something and the excitment at the possibilities. All that said. My question regarding this post in particular is this: When you say the address of the motivated seller is XXX'd out, it seems that the webmaster (Is that you?) has the potential contact. Am I to assume that this means that the exchange of potential of investment info is given out in trust that the info won't be exploited. It would seem less of an issue were we meeting shaking hands living in the same local, etc. But over the Internet seems less promising. Forgive my gaurdedness.

The purpose in adding in the address, is just so that you won't have to do it again at a later time. All you would have to do is change the status. From Property Lead to For Sale or Under Contract.
