Well, there is always a disenter, right? I haven't been here in quite a while and I got an email saying the site is super fast now. It takes about 9 seconds on average for the page to start to load and 12 seconds on average to finish. Painfully slow for me.
I'm on cable, and other competing sites are taking 2-3 seconds average. I'm hitting the site at 7:20am MST in case this was a glitch in time.
We are putting some finishing touches on the speed right now. Within the next half hour of me writing this, we should be at full speed for this upgrade. Of course in the next upcoming months we will continue to try to make our website faster than other REI forums. Quote:
