Sheriff's Sale On Home

I'm new here and new to this subject too. My ex husband was supposed to make the mortgage payments on our double-wide...where my children and I live...but he decided to stop payments last March. I wasn't informed and didn't know about it until last November, at which time I couldn't catch up on the payments. I'm on a VERY limited income. Now, in January, I received notice that they will sell the home at a sheriff's auction, but haven't been notified as to when. Is there any way for me to save the property now or is it too late? If it CAN be saved, can anyone advise me as to how? Thanks for any help!

Are you a co-borrower on the loan? I just seen something similar with a coule in NY. The wife was not on the original loan so she had no problem refinancing the loan into her name. This would be the perfect answer if you are able to do this. Have you tried?
