Question For REI Group Leaders
I am starting up a new REI group in Alaska and wonder how other people run their groups?
What do you do at your meetings? How often do you have meetings? Do you have topics that you go over? Where do you meet? In a public place or in member's homes?
Any advise or comments would be welcome. I live in Alaska and have had a larger response than expected. This is a good thing?

I wish you great success in your endevor.
I would ask for a volunteer board of some of the attendees to set up an agenda for future meetings. This way you will get some ideas that will be important to your club and its members.
One thing I would not do, is build a fire, you do not need your club house igloo melting at your first meeting.

I like that idea. I will see what other members feel they would like to see in our group.
