Ok, I may have just overlooked this and I am willing to look again.
But my question concerns private messages....
If we are asked cant we give our email address or phone number in a private message? Then if I wish to give my email to them isnt that my?

Your intent might be innocent, but believe me we have had problems in the past.
People think because they have an account with us, they can abuse the system and market their products/services through us.
So, by requiring users to either talk through PM (Subscription needed) or by allowing others to email you (Subscription not needed, but setting needs to exist in your user preferences) it cuts down on the marketing and allows serious investors to talk.
I think we or I should say I understand completely you have had troubles... what board hasnt.
But you are reffering to people whos intent is to hustle. I hope it is not implied then that I am sugesting I be allowed or others to hustle?
I am simply saying that if someone wanted my email addy for instance.... I am not a noob in the business and I can determine if the persons intent is to try and hustle me or not.
Im talking about clean networking.... you do allow that dont you?

Some of the mods will private email those they can and when they may have the time; however we mods do what we do for FREE, we do not always have time to PM every violator, and there be many, about what we have decided.
I am no longer able to PM people, hopefully Joel will make a decision on this, so I am editing or deleting the posts and letting the whole forum know the reason why.
If more people would read the forum rules, which are clearly posted, then our jobs would be allot easier.
