Tax Liens, Back Taxes?
So what is a tax lien? I have been watching infomercials about "buy this property for 300$", and such, but I'm not quite sure how they are getting those... And who do I inquire as to whether or not my state allows me to claim a property if I pay the back taxes on it? I live in Kentucky (KY). Thanks for any help.
Hi doggedbean, you need to check what the tax lien laws are in your state/county as they vary considerably. some sell tax deeds, some liens, and some have redemption periods. Good luck!
