Tax Lien's In Illinois - What Do You Think About This?

InActive_Account profile photo

I am looking to meet some other individuals who are interested in tax liens in the "Greater Chicago land Area”. I want to know more about this, and have a few other people who want some more information on them as well. If you would like to meet and discuss what is involved with regards to getting involved with them, please contact me. I know we can create a mutually beneficial relationship.

I too live in Chicago and am interested in generating a high return through tax leins. What have you found out so far? Where have you started researching. I am interesting in first learning the proceedure and laws associated with this type of investment. Do you have any of theis information?

    Hi there,

As part of "The Chicagoland Real Estate Investment Club", we are having a meeting on 01.27.04 at 1345 West Taylor Street in Chicago, IL 60607. It is an open meeting available to anyone who wants to attend. We are just getting together to share ideas, resources, meet some like minded people and meet other people in the business. There is no cost to attend, no salespeople with their "tax lists" available for a fee - there will be none of that! Since we are meeting at a cafe, is is required that you buy a cup of tea, coffee, etc to make them happy.

I am expecting a group of about 10 people. We will be having these meetigns regularly. If you have any other questions, please see my profile for contact information.

    Respectfully,

    Phil

    Hi,

I am also an REI interested in investing Tax Liens. I always thought you can only invest in tax liens couple times per year during the annual auction for each county. I believe we just had one for DuPage and one for Cook not too long ago. Unfortunately I missed it. Did anyone attend? What are some success stories? I am more interested to find out how to invest consistently with tax lien and make a consistent income doing it.

What time is your meeting? Maybe I can stop by and share some ideas in REI.

    Thanks,
    Roland

The meeting is from 6:30-9:00pm on Tuesday. If you come late, this is a-ok! This is very informal but I believe it will be a very good meeting!!

Any questions, please see my profile for contact information.

    Phil
