Tax Lien Lists

What is the best place to get a list of properties where a lien exists. Should I just go to the recorders office and ask for a list? I'm a bit unclear on this..

Thanks for the help!

I recommend reading the state law on the collection of delinquent property taxes, including any statutes related to tax liens and tax deeds. That will tell you when and where they are published, who makes them up, who has them, etc.

For a short-cut, call up some local tax collectors or treasures' offices and ask them about the lists. You might read over some web sites of such offices also.
