Tax Lien Auction
I am interested in buying Tax liens at auction in Colorado. There are liens avalable for under $20. I can't understand why anyone would buy one of these. If they go unsold at auction does the county sell them for a discount later?
You know what from what I know I have not heard anything like that. So my answer is no!

What would be the motive for buying a $20 tax lien? In Colorado after you pay the $39 in non-refundable fees, receive an 11% interest on the $20 lien, you wind up loosing money ! Do these just go unsold?
