I AM A NEWBIE AT BUYING TAX DEED AT COUNTY AUCTIONS IN FLORIDA...I HAVE BOUGHT 4 PROPERTIES SO FAR....AND NEED TO 'QUIET TITLE' THEM...I NEED ADIVSE ON WHAT TO DO AND "NOT" TO DO IN BUYING THOSE PROPERTIES...ALSO LOOKING FOR ALTERNATIVE WAYS TO "QUICKLY" QUIET TITLEING THEM INSTEAD OF GOING THRU ATTORNEYS.

    Hi TONYWAHAJ,

    I would use an attorney, at least at first, until you learn.

    It is fairly easy to do a quick title search for free at the Clerk or Recorder's office. Also call the City to look for liens. It's not 100%, but it's free and very easy to do quickly. The County folks will help you with the first few.

    That would be a good place to start.

    First step is to turn your caplock key off if you want a quiet answer to the quiet title, you have to ask a quiet question.
