If I quit claim my ex-boy friend from the deed on my home will that lift his state tax lien on my property? He only has a suriviors deed to my home. He has a debt that is not allowing me to sale my home and i have no contact with him. What can I do?
No. Liens run with the property no matter who owns it.

If you need to sell, perhaps you can pay the lien and deduct it out of his proceeds.
the lien will stay on until its paid or 10 years have passed without renewing the lien or if your boyfriend dies then the lien will be gone.
