Old MS Tax Deeds
I have some old 1997 MS tax deeds that I have kept the taxes current on. When I went to evict this past year, I was told that the statute of limitations is only 2 years in MS from when the tax deed is perfected to complete an eviction. Currently I have former deed holders living in the properties tax free. Is there any way I can get my invested tax money back, or better yet have these people evicted?? Does anyone here know of anything I can do?
