My employer offered me a bonus for vertain revenue goals at the business that I manage for him. Unfortunately it is not in writing but a substatial amount of money.

Can I place a lien on his business so that he must pay me at some time.

Nope. That type of breach of verbal contract is not a cause for lien.

Have you attained the business revenue goals?

I would agree, although I dont know personally. I live in Miami and it is over saturated with rich investors, I cant play with these people down here. So, I go to nearby counties in Florida.
Pick a nice place near by. Close enough for you to drive to, but far away from the city. Find out the county these areas are located in and get the info from the clerk of courts in that particular county.

    Thanks for info.

The market seems to be slowing down. Really depends on the neighborhood. Kingwood area seems to be doing well... Homes sell within 30 days.

Tax Appraisal $58,000... Back Taxes Due at original sale $42,000 (14 years)... Actual Market Value $39,900... Resale Opening Bid $2,700.... fyi... $240 a month Maintenance Fee.

In florida (I know your in Texas, so it may be different) the only thing that survives the tax sale is government liens (IRS, COUNTY, Water, etc...). SO I would think not, BUT I am looking into buying a condo with the same situation...so I am very curious to know the definitve answer to this one....ANYONE OUT THERe KNOW???
