When a lien is bid down to zero and you get zero percent on the amount of the lien, do you receive zero percent for the duration of the term to redemption? example. what if the delinguency goes into the second year? Do you still get 0% in the second year or do you get the full 18%? Thanks

If the initial lien is bid to zero, it is zero until redemption, the full 24 months. Penalties are separate from interest. Also, subsequent liens can be purchased at the full 18% 10 days after auction. Any premium paid to municipality will be returned upon redemption.

    Hope this answers your question
