Need Advice !!!
did a lease/purchase in 2002 with builder. had a 2 year window to get it refin. was in court case at the time with past buisness and could not buy then. now have financing in place ready to go to closeing. then mort. person called me and said the title had a judgement against our old business for this hugh amount. i have papers showing that our business was bought out by another company way before this judgement was put on the title. have no ideal when it was even put on. please help must refin or the builder will get the house back. title reads in both our names.
